Service for Change Award

Co-founders Cam Tyson and Lauren Shin were recipients of the University of Richmond’s “Service for Change Award,” an honor recognizing exemplary leadership and sustained commitment to community engagement through service, relationship building, and social impact. Cam Tyson accepted the award on behalf of both co-founders while Lauren Shin was studying abroad.

Future Goals

Looking ahead, Kickin’ It Coalition is committed to broadening its impact by reaching more families. We have a three-year plan, and by the time we are seniors in 2027, our goal is to expand our program to include at least 50 families.
